Computes the variance of a sample $X=\{x_1,...,x_n\}$,

$Var\left(X\right)=\frac{1}{n-1}\sum _{i=1}^n{\left(x_i-\overline{x}\right)}^2$

where $\overline{x}$ is the mean of $X$.
