Returns the $n$ -th root of a number.

Syntax

root(Natural, Real)

root(Element, Natural, Ring)

root(Natural, Unit | Quantity)

Given a real number $x$ and a natural $n$ , computes $\sqrt[n]{x}$ .

Given an element $x$ , a natural $n$ and a ring $R$ , computes $\sqrt[n]{x}$ over $R$ .

Given a unit or a quantity $r$ and a natural $n$ , computes $\sqrt[n]{r}$ .
