Reading time: 3minUse My Quizzes to create, edit, preview, and organize your quizzes in Nubric. The page brings together quizzes you created, editable copies made from the Content Bank, and shared quizzes you saved for later use. This guide explains how to find and manage these materials, including how to duplicate quizzes and delete those you no longer need.
Before you begin
Requirements
- Sign in to Nubric.
Applies to
- Teachers and content creators who create and manage quizzes in Nubric.
Steps
Follow the procedure for the task you want to complete.
Open My Quizzes
- Open My Quizzes from the navigation menu.
- Choose the collection you want to view:
- Created quizzes: Quizzes you created and editable copies made from the Content Bank.

Create a quiz
- From My Quizzes, choose how you want to start:
- Build from scratch: Create a quiz with a question ready to edit.
- Generate with AI: Open the prompt window and describe the questions you want Nubric to generate.
- Edit or review the questions, including their answers, evaluation settings, and feedback.
- Add more questions as needed. You can also change the quiz title within the editor.
Alternatively, select Create a new quiz to open an empty quiz in the editor, then add questions using your preferred creation method.
To reuse existing materials instead, select Discover quizzes to explore the Content Bank.

To configure questions, see Configure an open-answer question or Configure a multiple-choice question.
For a sequence of worked examples that build progressively on one another, see Build from scratch: guided tutorials.
Open an existing quiz for editing

- Find the quiz you want to modify and click it to open the quiz editor.
- Open a question to change its statement, answers, evaluation settings, or feedback.
You can also open the quiz's three-dot menu and select Edit.

Duplicate a quiz
Duplicate a quiz when you want a separate version to adapt for another lesson or group.

- Select Duplicate.
- Find the copy at the top of Created quizzes.
- Open the copy and change its title and content as needed.

Access saved quizzes
- Open My Quizzes > Saved quizzes.
- Find the quiz you want to use.
- Select Preview to review it, or Edit to create an editable copy.
In the Content Bank, clicking the bookmark icon adds a quiz to Saved quizzes without creating an editable copy. Selecting Edit creates an independent copy in Created quizzes, where you can modify it without changing the shared original.

A saved quiz remains accessible only while the original is available to you. If its owner deletes it or makes it private, you can no longer open it from Saved quizzes.
For complete instructions on finding, saving, and adapting shared materials, see Use the Public Content Bank or Use the Organization Content Bank.
Delete a quiz
- Open My Quizzes > Created quizzes.
- Open the quiz's three-dot menu.
- Select Delete.
- Review the confirmation dialog and confirm that you want to delete the quiz.

Deleting a quiz is permanent and cannot be undone. Educators who bookmarked the shared original can no longer open it from Saved quizzes. Independent editable copies already created by other educators remain available.
If you want to keep a separate version, duplicate the quiz before deleting it.

Common errors
You cannot find a quiz you copied from the Content Bank
Check Created quizzes. Editable copies appear here; Saved quizzes contains the shared materials you bookmarked.
A saved quiz is not editable
Saving does not create an editable version. Select Edit to create your own copy before changing the questions.
A saved quiz is no longer available
If the owner deletes a shared quiz or makes it private, its entry in Saved quizzes displays This quiz is no longer available. You can no longer open the shared original from that entry.

Select Remove to remove the unavailable bookmark from Saved quizzes. This removes the entry from your collection; it does not restore access to the original.
If you previously created an independent editable copy, find it in Created quizzes.
A new quiz opens without questions
Create a new quiz opens an empty quiz. Add a question to begin, or use Build from scratch from My Quizzes to start a new quiz with an Open Answer question ready to edit. You can also change the question type to Multiple Choice.
