Share quizzes in Nubric

Share your quizzes with other educators through a link or a Content Bank. You can make materials available to selected colleagues, the wider Nubric community, or members of your organization. This guide explains how to choose a sharing option and manage access to your quizzes.

Before you begin

Requirements

• Sign in to Nubric.
• Have a quiz available in My Quizzes > Created quizzes.
• To publish in the Organization Content Bank, belong to an organization with a PRO plan.

• Teachers and content creators who want to share quiz materials with other educators.

Steps

Follow the procedure for the sharing option you want to use.

Share a quiz by link

1. Open My Quizzes > Created quizzes and locate the quiz.
2. Open its Share menu and select Share with my peers.
3. Under General access, select Share with link.
4. Copy the sharing link using the control provided in the dialog.
5. Send the link to the educators who should access the quiz.

Publish in a Content Bank

Publish a quiz in a Content Bank when you want other educators to find it while browsing shared materials.

1. Open My Quizzes > Created quizzes and locate the quiz.
2. Open its Share menu and select Share with my peers.
3. Under General access, choose the relevant Content Bank:
   • Public Content Bank: Share with the wider Nubric community.
   • Center Content Bank: Share within your active organization. This option is available to organizations with a PRO plan.

Verify it worked

• After sharing by link: Check that an intended recipient can open the shared material.
• After publishing in a Content Bank: Locate the quiz in the selected bank.
• After changing visibility: Reopen Share with my peers and check the General access setting.

Options and variations

Change where a quiz is shared

Return to Share > Share with my peers and select a different option under General access.

A quiz can be published in only one Content Bank at a time. Changing from Public Content Bank to Center Content Bank moves its publication to the Organization Content Bank, and vice versa.

Stop sharing a quiz

1. Open the quiz's Share menu and select Share with my peers.
2. Under General access, select Private.

Users who saved the shared quiz can no longer open it from Saved quizzes. They see This quiz is no longer available and can remove the bookmark using Remove.

Independent editable copies already created by other educators remain separate from the shared original.

Prepare a separate version

Duplicate a quiz before adapting its content for a different audience if you want to keep the original version. See Manage quizzes in Nubric.

Print quizzes in Nubric

From the quiz's Share menu, select Print quiz to open a printable version. You can include an answer key, then print the document or save it as a PDF. See Print quizzes in Nubric.

Common errors

A recipient cannot open the shared quiz

Check that the quiz still exists and review its General access setting. A private quiz is no longer available to educators who previously saved it. If it is published in the Organization Content Bank, the recipient must have access to the relevant organization.

The Organization Content Bank is unavailable

Check your active organization and whether it has a PRO plan. See Nubric plans and features for further information.

You need to adapt a saved quiz before sharing it

Saving a quiz bookmarks the shared material without creating an editable version. From My Quizzes > Saved quizzes, select Edit to create your own copy. Adapt the copy, then locate it in Created quizzes to access its sharing options.
