Join an organization in Nubric

Use this method when an organization Admin has invited you to join their Nubric organization. You can accept the Nubric invitation and access the organization with the role assigned to you.

Following this guide, you will become a member of the organization and gain access to the Nubric features included in its plan.

Before you begin

Requirements

• An invitation from an Admin of the Nubric organization.
• Access to the email address to which the invitation was sent.
• A Nubric account associated with that email address.

Steps

Review the invitation email

Open the invitation email sent by Nubric. It identifies the organization you have been invited to join and provides a link to access Nubric. Select Accept invite.

Sign in to Nubric

Sign in at https://nubric.com/ using the email address that received the invitation. After signing in, Nubric displays the pending invitation, including:

• The name of the organization.
• The name of the Admin who invited you.
• The number of members in the organization.
• The role assigned to you.

Accept the invitation

Select Accept invitation to join the organization. Nubric adds you to the organization with the role selected by the Admin who sent the invitation:

Teacher

You can use the organization's available features and view its members.

Admin

You can also invite members and manage their roles and membership.

Verify it worked

• Open My center and confirm that the organization appears as your current center.
• Confirm that you can see the organization's members and their assigned roles.
• Check that your own role matches the role shown in the invitation.

Options and variations

If you want to decline the invitation

Select Decline invitation, and then confirm by selecting Decline in the confirmation dialog. Declining the invitation permanently rejects it. An organization Admin must send you a new invitation if you later decide to join.

If you do not want to respond immediately

You can leave the invitation pending and accept or decline it later. Organization invitations do not expire.

If you belong to multiple organizations

Use Change center to select the organization you want to work for.

Common errors

The invitation does not appear after signing in

Confirm that you signed in with the same email address used to send the invitation.

You declined the invitation and can no longer accept it

Ask an Admin of the organization to send you a new invitation.

Your assigned role is incorrect

Contact an organization Admin. Admins can change the roles of existing members from My center.

You can view members, but cannot manage them

You have the Teacher role. Only Admins can invite members, change roles, or remove members.
