Join a premium organization in Nubric

Use this guide when an organization Admin has invited you to join a premium organization in Nubric. Premium organizations are invitation-only. You can view and accept the pending invitation directly in Nubric. Nubric also sends you an invitation email, which provides an alternative way to access it. Non-premium organizations can be joined without an invitation and follow a different membership model.

Following this guide, you will become a member of the premium organization and gain access to the Nubric features included in its plan.

Before you begin

Requirements

• An invitation from an Admin of the premium organization.
• A Nubric account associated with the email address to which the invitation was sent.

Steps

Sign in to Nubric

Go to https://nubric.com/ and sign in using the account associated with the email address used for the invitation. Nubric displays the pending invitation after you sign in.

Review the pending invitation

Review the information provided in the invitation:

• The name of the organization.
• The name of the Admin who invited you.
• The number of members in the organization.
• The role assigned to you.

Accept the invitation

Select Accept invitation to join the premium organization. Nubric adds you to the organization with the role selected by the Admin who sent the invitation:

Teacher

You can use the organization's available features and view its members.

Admin

You can also invite members and manage their roles and membership.

Verify it worked

• Open My center and confirm that the organization appears as your current center.
• Confirm that you can see the organization's members and their assigned roles.
• Check that your own role matches the role shown in the invitation.

Options and variations

Accept the invitation from the email

Nubric also sends an invitation email identifying the organization you have been invited to join. Select Accept invite in the email to open Nubric and respond to the pending invitation.

You do not need to start from the email. You can sign in to Nubric directly and accept the pending invitation there.

If you want to decline the invitation

Select Decline invitation, and then confirm by selecting Decline in the confirmation dialog. Declining the invitation permanently rejects it. An organization Admin must send you a new invitation if you later decide to join.

If you do not want to respond immediately

You can leave the invitation pending and accept or decline it later. Invitations to premium organizations do not expire.

If you belong to multiple organizations

Use Change center to select the organization you want to work in.

Common errors

The invitation does not appear after signing in

Confirm that you signed in with the same email address used to send the invitation.

You declined the invitation and can no longer accept it

Ask an Admin of the organization to send you a new invitation.

Your assigned role is incorrect

Contact an organization Admin. Admins can change the roles of existing members from My center.

You can view members, but cannot manage them

You have the Teacher role in a premium organization. Only Admins can invite members, change roles, or remove members.
