                      WIRISplugins.js configuration

                      This article describes the configuration parameters supported by the WIRISplugins.js viewer.

                      Requirements/Prerequisites:

                      • MathType integration version 3.50 or later.
                      • WIRISplugins.js is included in the page.

                      Reference details

                      Configuration parameters:

                      Parameter Description Values Default
                      viewer Determines how formulas are displayed. image, none none
                      lang Language used for accessible text. en, es, inherit inherit
                      dpi Image resolution used when rendering formulas. Numeric value 96
                      async Renders formulas asynchronously. true, false false

                      Example usage

                      Render formulas as images:

                      <script src="WIRISplugins.js?viewer=image"></script>
                      

                      Set accessible text language:

                      <script src="WIRISplugins.js?viewer=image&lang=en"></script>
                      

                      Enable asynchronous rendering:

                      <script src="WIRISplugins.js?viewer=image&async=true"></script>
                      

                      API methods

                      Render formulas inside a specific DOM element:

                      com.wiris.js.JsPluginViewer.parseElement(
                          domElement,
                          true,
                          function(){}
                      );
