Auxiliary input component
Reading time: 1minIt is common for teachers to ask their students to explain how they have computed the answer to a Math or Science question. Even in automatically graded questions, teachers may want to ask the students to write their reasons just in case they want to later check them for manually adjusting the grade or answer the student's request regarding this question. It is also valuable from a formative assessment perspective, beyond grading.
For example, we can add a text editor to the previous question asking the students to reason their answers.
