Using LearningLemur within D2L Brightspace

This guide explains how a D2L Brightspace Administrator can register LearningLemur as an LTI 1.3 tool using Dynamic Registration. After registration, educators should be able to select LearningLemur when creating an Assignment.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure you have:

• D2L Brightspace Administrator access 
• The Dynamic Registration Endpoint URL provided by LearningLemur / Wiris

Step-by-step installation

1) Open External Learning Tools

Log in to D2L Brightspace with an administrator account.

Go to Settings (or Admin Tools, depending on your configuration).

Open External Learning Tools.

2) Register the tool (Dynamic Registration)

Click Register Tool.

Choose Dynamic (Dynamic Registration).

Paste the Dynamic Registration Endpoint URL provided by LearningLemur / Wiris.

Click Register.

Verify the tool is available for Assignments

After registration:

Go to a test course.

Create a new Assignment.

In the submission/assessment options, select the option to use an External Learning Tool.

Confirm LearningLemur appears in the list and can be selected/launched.
