Keyboard navigation
MathType offers you the possibility to move around with your keyboard. When MathType opens, the focus is placed in the Edition area. To move through the main sections of the editor, press Tab. To go back to the previous section, press Shift + Tab.
Within each section, you can use the Left and Right arrow keys to navigate horizontally. If a dropdown menu is available in the current position, press the Enter key or the Down arrow key to access it.
To confirm an action or insert the selected symbol or element, you can press either Space or Enter.
Pressing ESC will exit the editor entirely, returning you to the main application.
