MathType toolbar has become disconnected from the main window

MathType for Windows |
Issue
The MathType toolbar used to be attached to the main MathType window, but is now floating and won't re-dock and attach to the main window:

Reason
It's easy to undock the toolbar without realizing it. The toolbar should re-dock by double-clicking its title bar (identified by the word "Equation" above), but it doesn't. This will be addressed in a future version of MathType
Solution
To re-dock the toolbar, use the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+D . It's possible the shortcut won't work. If this happens, it's generally because you're using an international keyboard and the shortcut key is different. Whether that's the reason or not, there are other things you can do:
Double-click inside any dark grey areas on the toolbar, such as between named tabs.
See what the shortcut is for your system and change it if you want. To do that, go to the Preferences menu, then to Customize Keyboard. Click to expand the Toolbar Commands section and see what the shortcut is.
If you'd like to change the shortcut key, click in the space provided and press the keys you want to assign to this command. It's not necessary to type words like Shift, Ctrl, etc. Just press the key.

We hope this has been helpful. As always, please let us know if you have questions about this or if you have additional techniques that work. We'd love to hear from you.
