Using the public content bank
Reading time: 1minThe Content Bank is where teachers can explore quizzes shared by the LearningLemur community. It allows you to discover, save, assign, and share quizzes created by others, and also publish your own materials when you want to make them available more widely.
1.Discover content
- Access the Content Bank from the side navigation menu.
- You’ll see a list of public quizzes, ordered by popularity.
- Use the search bar to find quizzes by keyword (e.g., typing “Sums” will return all quizzes with that word in the title).
- Use filters to narrow results by language.
2.Preview quizzes
Click Preview on any quiz to:
- See all its questions exactly as students would.
- Decide if the quiz is useful before saving, editing or assigning it.
3.Save quizzes for later
You can save a quiz directly from the list or from its preview screen:
- Click Save → the quiz is added to your Saved Quizzes tab in My Quizzes.
- Saved quizzes remain in the Content Bank, but you’ll always have quick access in My Quizzes.
- To remove a quiz, click Unsave—it will disappear from your list.
4.Edit quizzes
You cannot edit public quizzes directly. Instead:
- Save the quiz.
- From Saved Quizzes, click Edit → a new copy is created in Created Quizzes.
- The original remains in your Saved list, while your copy is fully editable.

5.Share saved quizzes with others
From the Saved Quizzes, you can also:
- Click Share to copy a link to the quiz.
- Anyone with the link can view or add the quiz to their Saved list.

6.Publishing your own quizzes
When you create a quiz, it is Private by default. You can change its visibility in the Share → Share with my peers button:
- Private – only you can access it.
- Open with link – only accessible via a direct link.
- Public – appears in the Content Bank for everyone.
Teachers can toggle visibility at any time. If a quiz is switched back to Private, it is immediately removed from the Content Bank.
Tip: Use the Content Bank not only to save time, but also to explore how other teachers design their quizzes—it’s a great way to learn new approaches and improve your own.
