MathType for Schoology

Type and handwrite mathematical notation in Schoology with MathType. The popular equation editor for MS Word is now seamlessly integrated into Schoology.
MathType is provided as a subscription that allows you to enjoy the same quality solution in your LMS and word processors. Free usage is available under specific circumstances. Please read the subscription conditions and prices at MathType store.
ChemType is a flavor of MathType designed to help you work with chemical notation. It includes a personalized toolbar with the common chemical symbols, as well as a different user experience adapted to chemical notation needs. Look for the ChemType icon.
WIRIS EDITOR was renamed as MathType in March 2018. MathType 7 is a merge of classical MathType, WIRIS EDITOR and new apps developed for Google and Office Online.
The only permissions you need to include the MathType and ChemType apps in your course are teacher permissions.
