Computes the limit of a function or expression.

limit(Function, Identifier, Real | Infinity)

Given a function f left parenthesis x subscript 1 comma... comma x subscript n right parenthesis, an identifier x subscript i and x subscript 0 element of straight real numbers union infinity, computes the limit limit as x subscript i rightwards arrow x subscript 0 of f left parenthesis x subscript 1 comma space... comma space x subscript n right parenthesis

Given a function f left parenthesis x subscript 1 comma... comma x subscript n right parenthesis, an identifier x subscript i, x subscript 0 element of straight real numbers and an integer r element of left curly bracket negative 1 comma 0 comma plus 1 right curly bracket, computes the limit limit as x subscript i rightwards arrow x subscript 0 superscript r of f left parenthesis x subscript 1 comma space... comma space x subscript n right parenthesis, where x subscript 0 superscript r stands for the limit for the left when r equals negative 1, for above when r equals plus 1 and it stands for the ordinary limit when r equals 0.

Given an univariate function f left parenthesis x right parenthesis, x subscript 0 element of straight real numbers and an integer r element of left curly bracket negative 1 comma 0 comma plus 1 right curly bracket, computes the limit limit as x rightwards arrow x subscript 0 superscript r of f left parenthesis x right parenthesis, where x subscript 0 superscript r stands for the limit for the left when r equals negative 1, for above when r equals plus 1 and it stands for the ordinary limit when r equals 0.
