Limit

Computes the limit of a function or expression.

Description

Given a function f(x1,...,xn), an identifier xi and x0normalℝ, computes the limit limxix0f(x1, ..., xn)

Given an univariate function f(x) and x0normalℝLaTeXx_0 \in \mathbb{R} \cup \infty, computes the limit limxx0f(x)

Given a function f(x1,...,xn)LaTeXf(x_1, ..., x_n), an identifier xiLaTeXx_i, x0normalℝ and an integer r{-1,0,+1}, computes the limit limxix0rf(x1, ..., xn), where x0r stands for the limit for the left when r=-1, for above when r=+1 and it stands for the ordinary limit when r=0.

Given an univariate function f(x)LaTeXf(x), x0normalℝLaTeXx_0 \in \mathbb{R} and an integer r{-1,0,+1}LaTeXr \in \lbrace -1, 0, +1 \rbrace, computes the limit limxx0rf(x), where x0rLaTeXx_0^r stands for the limit for the left when r=-1LaTeXr=-1, for above when r=+1LaTeXr=+1 and it stands for the ordinary limit when r=0LaTeXr=0.
